Irion County WCD and Sterling County UWCD have entered into a cooperative management agreement for one person to perform the managerial duties of both districts. Operation and Board of Directors of each district remains separate, reflecting local management issues, while realizing the advantages of district cooperation and sharing of resources.

Irion County Water Conservation District is another proud cooperator in the Texas Water Information Network.
